1991

President René Ouellet started out in the mold business in the basement of his own home.
He manufactures mold and machine components, as well as bottle-blowing molds.

1993

Incorporation of the company and move to 11 rue industrielle in Ste-Claire, in a 1600 sq. ft. facility.
The great adventure begins!

1999

Digital evolution to offer their customers computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) services, enabling them to design more complex molds.

2008

Expansion of the CNC machine park with the purchase of a lathe, a milling machine and an EDM machine.

Purchase of the existing building at 11 Industrial and expansion of the plant to 4,200 square feet.

2013

Acquisition of first AWEA High Speed Machining center.

2014

Due to a labor shortage, Usipro 03 recruits foreign workers from the Philippines.

2019

Acquisition of a second AWEA High Speed Machining center.

2020

Expansion of the team with the arrival of several experienced injection molds-makers.

2021
September

After evaluating several possibilities for expanding the plant, Mr. Ouellet finally opted for a new building here in Ste-Claire, at 175 1st Street West.

December

Now that construction is complete, we're moving machinery and workstations.

2022

Usipro 03 is officially up and running in its new factory.

2024
January

Mr. Ouellet and his son Vincent are on a trip to Germany to visit the factory with which we have just signed the purchase of a brand-new 5-axis “Mill-Turn” machine. This officially marks the start of a new technological era for Usipro 03!
