The machinist-toolmaker is responsible for operating various conventional equipment: lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, drilling machines. He or she must perform different setups on different machine tools, tool the machines appropriately and make the necessary adjustments to produce a part that meets the drawing specifications.

He or she must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a CNC machinist, as well as a DEP in Machining Technique and an ASP in machining on CNC machine tools. A good knowledge of injection molds is an asset.
